Love has many faces
When we talk about love, we don't always mean the love between two partners. There are many other forms of love: a mother's love, a father's love, or love of one's job.
Love for animals is also a form of affection, one that can perhaps be called the most honest. At least when it comes to an animal's affection for its owner.
But whatever form we're talking about, what matters is that it is an honest feeling. Feigned feelings or impulses have nothing to do with it.
